Your answers

Your answers to the 23 BAT-23 statements are kept in your browser while you take the test. They are used only to calculate your score and show your result. Nothing is sent to a server automatically, and no account is required.

Storing and sharing your result

Before you start, you are asked to confirm that you understand how your result may be stored and shared. This consent covers three things:

• Keeping your answers in this browser session so the result can be shown to you.
• Creating a shareable link that contains only your total score — never your individual answers, name, email or any other personal detail. Anyone with that link can see the result category it produces.
• Generating a PDF of your result on your own device, and copying your result text to your clipboard if you choose to share it on Instagram.

Sharing is always your choice. If you never press a share or download button, your result stays with you and disappears when you close or refresh the page.

Third parties

If you use the Instagram share option, your result text is copied to your clipboard and Instagram opens. What you then post, and how Instagram handles it, is governed by Instagram's own privacy policy.

Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw consent at any time by closing the page or retaking the test without accepting. Because results are not stored on a server, there is nothing to delete on our side. Shareable links you have already sent to other people cannot be recalled — delete the message instead.
